Find Rest and Renewal for Your Spirit
This 24-hour retreat is intended as Sabbath time. It is not another class, and there is no required reading.
There will be time and space to rest, worship, and participate in spiritual formation experiences.
Our hope is that those who attend will experience a time of rest and renewal that is refreshing for their soul.
Take some time away this summer for spiritual renewal before you enter into the next season of ministry.

Arrival: 11am-1pm Friday, July 28
Friday lunch, Friday evening dinner, Saturday morning breakfast, and snacks will be provided.

The retreat will take place at Lake Travis UMC near Austin. Lodging will be provided for you at the adjacent Holiday Inn Express. We will make the room reservations when we have your registration and retreat payment.

The $175 cost of the retreat includes overnight lodging in a single occupancy hotel room, food, and other retreat materials.
Registration with lodging is no longer available. Participants wanting to attend without lodging provided can register for $75. Email us if you would like to be placed on the wait list.
Retreat Guide: Rev. Joanna Cummings
Joanna (she/her/hers) is a creative spirit, outgoing introvert and a United Methodist deacon. She is a curriculum writer, collaborative leader and relational pastor who seeks to offer care and compassion for the whole person. Joanna is the Pastor with Children and Their Families at East End United Church in Nashville, TN and is the founder of A Sacred Home, equipping families and people of all ages who seek to grow in faith together. Joanna is married to Chris and they have a two year old son. Together they enjoy gathering around shared meals with friends, all things DIY and hiking with their rescue dog, Shalom.
