As faith formation leaders, we know that we will see the children and youth in our care one hour per week (at best!). We're also aware of the research that tells us that parents and primary caregivers are the most influential people in a child's life in terms of faith formation and spiritual growth. How, then, can we help the parents in our care in developing a faith at home practice that truly supports faith formation at home? Join author and ordained pastor Traci Smith in this four week course on developing a sustainable faith at home practice. This course will include practical advice, research, and guidance in empowering your families. Participants will design their own events for parents and caregivers as a final project. Final projects will be shared in a common portfolio for all participants to use and modify in their own contexts.
